"Contemplation" Photographs by Candace Ellett

Candace Ellett spent the last two years traveling in 13 countries, taking thousands of pictures to document her journey.  Her "Contemplation" series depicts the diversity of the cultures and landscapes of China, Austria, and the Netherlands.  She learned to find beauty in unexpected places and in things most people are too busy to notice.  The images celebrate the wonders of life and encourage us to enjoy the differences as well as the "samenesses" of the peoples we encounter.
