Luscombe Post was born in Carthage, MO, on November 21,
1897.
He earned his medical degree from Washington
University in 1922, then practiced medicine in Joplin as an
eye-ear-nose-and-throat specialist.
Elizabeth Robberson Clark was born in Joplin, MO, February 8, 1900. She married Winfred Post on November 8, 1925. They were the devoted parents of two daughters, Elizabeth (1932-1937) and Eleanor (1937-1981)
When Elizabeth Post died in 1976 and her husband the following year, Joplin lost two of its most esteemed and beloved benefactors.
